How can you really take a stand in this matter, I envy people who have already formed an opinion whether in support or against it.
I don’t seem to come to a decision about whether or not abortion should be supported.
Is a life in making more important than a person who is alive?!
In the case of an unmarried adolescent girl, I find myself supporting abortion.
People who are against Abortion, for religious reasons or otherwise, don’t talk about supporting the mother.
The society doesn’t want to leave its rigidity but expects the girl to bear the brunt of a mistake for her entire lifetime. How easily a boy can be absolved of any responsibility in the eyes of the world is another serious issue, but that’s a different topic all together.
I’m not advocating abortion, but just don’t know if a girl’s right on her life is a matter of general public discretion.
It’s easy to judge, but do we want to be a society like that or not is what each and everyone needs to think about.
Noted economist Steven Levitt has some interesting facts to present.
The Romanian dictator ‘Nicolae Ceausescu’ had made some rather strange changes, in the mid 1960s, not too unexpected from a tyrant. He made Abortion and any kind of birth control illegal and forced women to bear as many children as possible. Whatever the reason and consequence of that matter must have been, Steven Levitt studied the situation and was of the opinion that in parts of America when abortion was legalized 20 years later the crime rate fell significantly, and this was because those unwanted kids were not there to commit crimes.
As absurd as it may sound he has gathered numerous statistical data and provided logical explanations to back his theory. I advice people to go through his research, it’s an interesting read.
Leaves me with the thought that how pleasant is that kid’s life going to be who was unwanted to begin with.

Now, let’s think of an innocent voiceless fetus.
Didn’t commit a crime, no bad choices, never asked to be in this situation.
Is it anyone’s right to rape it of his/her chances to be alive?
The unhappiest of us will tell you that they are glad to have lived. Life is not limited to just one aspect being right, even if it’s the beginning.
Won’t it be murder to kill a poor baby for no reason but the convenience of someone who is not very bright to begin with?
I for one want to live and see it all, life is wondrous and mysterious and remarkable.
Why are some stripped of life even before birth, are these poor souls at fault at all.
You never know what the future holds for them. Countless prodigies, intellectual and leaders have been born in many unfortunate and inhospitable circumstances.
How is anyone to know that this child in question can’t fight the adversities and succeed!
Can this be determined, I think not.
I can’t reach a consensus in the matter of abortion, but I will say that the adoption of a baby by a family that needs one from a mother that does not, is the most appealing of all solutions.

If you by any means like watching movies then watch 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 days depicting the brutal and realistic portrait of Romania about that period.
My personal view on this subject is also brutal, being pessimistic, i can only say that it is related to your blog title. Think yourself as that child and justify your title.
thought provoking ..read..nice write up
