wrote dis when i ws in7th grade
its titled HIGH

Our nation is high, higher than the
Mountains and higher than the sky.

It’s higher than our attention towards religion and caste,
It’s higher than our feelings we have for the past,
It’s culture it’s tradition it’s heritage is vast,
Lets join hands, if we want to develop fast.

Now what it needs is our support,
Because it cares for its citizens a lot,
For those who couldn’t achieve and those who got,
Those who stole or those who bought,
For those who use knowledge or leave it to rot.

Our nation does not differentiate between fair and dark.
It does not discriminate between officer and clerk,
We should value Indian currency, not dollar, or mark,
If cant change the whole system we can at least leave a mark,
For lightning a candle we just need a spark.

When we needed our country it stood by us tall,
Gave itself completely without a word at all.

When our purpose was served why did we wave it goodbye,Cant we just let our nation stand tall and high.
