Now you see me (2013) [18/50]

Language: English

Cast: Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman

Story: A cat and mouse like chase between a federal agent four illusionists, after they commit bank heist and distribute the money among the audience.

Screenplay and direction: The direction good and screenplay crisp except for the climax.

Performances: Mark Ruffalo still looks great; all the actors are good enough. Jesse Eisenberg looks and acts different but his speaking style is too fast, very nerd like (I am not complaining) Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson and Morgan Freeman were good but Dave Franco should get some tips from older brother (James Franco) as he could have been better.

Interesting: Morgan Freeman, while promoting the movie had fallen asleep mid interview, then later made up for it by saying he was simply updating his fb status via eyelids. J

USP:  fast paced, thrilling, stylish, good chase scenes and fight scenes etc.

Downside: the plot I thin, implausible, stretched climax. Spoiler* whats the big deal about the eye!

Verdict: The pace and style drive this movie, it’s enteraining at first but then as the illusions get more elaborate the movie becomes less entertaining, but overall fun to watch. 7/10
