Story: The story of a girl who goes to spend the summer with
her estranged father and how this holiday changes her.
Screenplay and direction: The direction is okay and
screenplay is confused.
Performances: I like Miley Cyrus, her acting was good enough
but her lips/mouth seem to never shut, which can be distracting. Liam Hemsworth
is okay. The pair looks good together. Greg Kinnear and Bobby Coleman are good.
Interesting: Nicolas sparks has not only written the story
he also wrote the screenplay. Not a very good job though.
USP: Nicolas Sparks fans will love it, romantic, feel good,
love story, perfect kisses.
Downside: Story is not gripping, screenplay gets confused,
the movie never takes off, and weird plot twists are not relatable.
Verdict: The movie has some good beach scenes and funny
dialogues but really not worth the time. The movie lacks direction and can be
missed. 5/10
