Its today, I steal your heart,

Its today, I refuse to part,

Its today, I will be free,

Today is the day for me.

Its today I answer back,

Its today I learn white from black,

Its today the world will see

Today is the day for me.

Its today, I climb mountains,

Its today, I drink from fountains,

Its today, I plant a tree,

Today is the day for me.

The sun rises everyday,

It rises then it fades away,

But everyday it shows, who see,

Its best version it can be.

My procrastinations have to end,

Today sloth, I won’t defend,

Now, everyday is going to be,

Going to be, the day for me.

Smile and give me your hand,

We’ll do it all, all that we’ve planned,

Today come away with me,

Because today is, the day for ‘we’.
